"Higad" is the name of this creature here in the Philippines, also known as, the caterpillar. They are voracious feeders and are considered pests in plants.
haven't seen a wooly for some time until now good job so close did you see the fight or have to pay for it where you are??it was expensive here.. sandy

It is so fuzzy. We have a caterpillar here in Nebraska that looks almost the same except it is snow white in color.

Cool shots... I like the way the bug's spikes are complemented by the spiky plant leaves.
As a kid, we called these woolly worms and willy worms. Whatever the name, great shots!
