Many say today is a lucky day because of the series of 8's in the date. According to Feng Shui, eight is a lucky number because of how you write it. It's always going upward. Yeah, whatever! By the way, Feng Shui is the ancient Chinese practice of harmonizing the built-environment with spiritual forces. Personally, I don't believe in that stuff. I strongly believe that God created everything beautiful and equal. It's how we perceive and see things that makes them unlucky or lucky to begin with. So, whatever number or day it is... No Water!

It's been a week since we got no water. The pipes before our water meter is broken. That's why it's only us who do not have water supply in our neighborhood. I've reported it to the authority which is Maynilad Water Services but still no repair have been made. Hay.... Well, to be fair, after 3 days of my complaint. Someone from Maynilad came to see what's wrong. Guess what? They just look at it, never told the husband when will they come back to fix it and left. Until now, we still have no water. Fortunately a few houses from us. They sell water for php2.50 per container. For now, it will do but imagine the hassle! I'm so pissed off! Grrr! Looking at the brighter side, the husband and Li'lOne have a bonding time together. They are the ones who are fetching water, hehe! At least, my kiddo experienced the hardship of no water supply from the faucet directly. Sometimes, or i may say, oftentimes, experience is the best teacher. It taught my kid to value and appreciate and never waste water!

Comfy Shoes

During weekdays, I'm the one accompanying my kid to and from school (dakilang yaya, haha!). I'm the type of person who just wear shorts, shirt and slippers, very casual. But for several times now, my feet are always been bruised and reeled on with school bags. Gosh, it really hurts! By the way, my feet are always in slight pain, sometimes, sharp shooting pain! That's one of the setbacks of being diabetic for half of my life. Not complaining... it's in my genes. Both of my parents have it. Though, I love just wearing flip-flops... I decided to wear comfortable closed shoes. I needed to protect my feet! (",)

Foodshot Sundays - Maty's Tapsihan

The husband been telling me since Friday that he wants to eat "Tapsilog" (Tapa-Sinangag-Itlog) at Maty's. It's located in Dongalo, Paranaque. Today, Tin is here. She's also a fanatic of that kind of food. So, off we went. Even my Lil'One loves their "Si-Log" ( fried garlic rice & sunny-side up egg). Me, I also like their "Tapsilog", besides it tastes good and cheap. It also makes me nostalgic about my childhood. The house we used to live in is still there and just 3 houses apart from the Tapsihan where we ate. But it has deteriorated so much that it lost her beauty. Anyways, it's good to be there again (",)

Manny Pacquiao won over David Diaz. Literally, he smashed the face of Diaz. Diaz suffered several cuts on his face. It was a 9th round knock-out! From Super Featherweight Champion, he is now the WBC Lightweight Division Champion. Making him the 9th boxer in the world, first in Asia, that garnered a quadruple world title champion. Yesterday Was A Bummer!

I've been down yesterday... bummer! I felt really sick though i do not have a fever. But got an infected skin rash and my back was killing me. My back is like this for weeks now. Last night, I cannot stand the pain anymore. I took a pain reliever. And for the skin rash, I'll be cleaning it twice a day and I took an anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory pill. I'll be taking it for 5 days until the skin rash is gone. This is one of the setbacks when my blood sugar is high. I get skin infections easily.

Been gone for almost two weeks, sorry guys! I've been busy as usual, with being a mom and a wifey. I'm not complaining though, but the sad part is, no blogging for me.
