After my son's ballet and jazz class, we went to Mc Donald's. Bought my kid a happy meal and off we went to Red Ribbon. I'm in the mood for a slice of cake, tried this red velvet cake. It's okay (",)
Everytime we passed by Bread Talk. We're always full to try their breads. But last Saturday was a different story, though, we just had our lunch at Pho Hoa Noodle House (I'll post all about this resto later). The husband still wanted to eat something and me too. So, for the first time we did try the products of Bread Talk and it was very satisfying and delicious. Even my little one liked it! For sure, we'll be back for more. We still got a lot of their breads to try!
It's my first time to try this, been aiming to buy for sometime now but wasn't able to find a store nearby. I've heard so much of these famous egg tarts that I got curious. Last Saturday, at SM-Mall of Asia, while we're walking going to the area where we're going to watch the Pyro Olumpics. I saw a stall of Lord Stow's Bakery and bought these. It's good. It's like an eggpie but with a more flaky crust and lighter custard.
Pandesal from Pan de Manila, cooked in pugon. It's okay but I still like the pandesal bought in "panaderia". A great filling for this kind of bread is the famous Filipino dish, "Menudo".
