Last Saturday, My son and I, we were at the ice rink with Tin. It's a whole day skate practice for my kiddo, from 11 in the morning until 6.30 in the evening. Then, he had his gymnastics work-out after that. We left SM-Southmall at around 8.30 pm. Indeed a very tiring day!

We had our late lunch at SM Foodcourt, consists of garlic fried rice, salted egg, binagoongan and chicharon. By the way, I forgot to take pictures of, we were so hungry by the time I realized it the food was gone already so I didn't bother anymore.

While walking back to the rink, my friend Tin spotted a new stall... they sell cream puffs. We tried it and it's good. They have so many flavors just look at the first picture. We'll be coming back to try them.

Buena Bonita Burgers

I bought these cheeseburgers yesterday, pasalubong for our dog and food reserve in the fridge. For the satisfaction of my hunger pangs between meals, hehe! I'm a cheeseburger-lover just like our dog, Luigi. We had these for breakfast.

It's a buy one take one deal, for the price of 27 pesos only!!!

We bought this a few days back at Fil-Negosyo Expo 2007 at El Mare's stall. My hubby, who's a fanatic of native kakanin, forgot we had espasol sitting inside the refrigerator for sometime now. I reminded him this morning, we had this for breakfast.... sarap!!!

Hero Great Bites Hungarian Sandwich

We went earlier to Fil-Negosyo Expo 2007 at Megatrade Hall 2 in SM-Megamall. It started yesterday and will last until Sunday (Oct. 23-28). This is not our first time to try Hero Hungarian Sandwich. Fortunately, this time I brought my camera and took pictures of the frankfurters & sausages, plus other food stuff and stalls.

We went to Makati earlier today, did some errands and bought some clothes in Landmark. After that, we went to Glorietta. I haven't been there for awhile now. We just roamed around. I saw a stall of Eng Bee Tin. My hubby and I, we both love hopia. We bought each pack of "hopia baboy" and "hopia monggo". I just wanted to satisfy my cravings... trying to watch my diet lately because my blood sugar is still high. Hopia is one of my comfort foods and seeing the name Eng Bee Tin .... it reminds me of my daddy, the memories of walking around Ongpin (I know that's where their main branch is) scouting for food to buy for our pasalubong (",)

I bought a pack of tikoy roll ... just curious! I still haven't tried it. It's inside my freezer, maybe one of these days, we'll try to eat it for our merienda!

Pao Express

I wasn't able to update my blog for over a week now. Too busy with my kiddo's skating lessons, make up tests in school, part-time chocolate business and doctor's appointments! whew! (",)

Yesterday, after school, we went to SM-Southmall for my Little One's ice skating lessons. It took only an hour but for my son it was grueling!!! The competition is getting near ... he needed the extra push! Before going home, we bought pasalubong for Lola. I decided to try "Pao Express" and their assorted mini-siopao (bola-bola, asado, monggo and ube). For me and my mother, the taste... hmmm......was okay nothing to rave about! Still, nothing beats Ma Mun Luk's special siopao!!! But my kiddo loved it! He preferred the asado flavor.
