Been raining for couple of days. It's just today I see Mr. Sun shining down. Because of this, there are lots of frogs creeping and jumping in our backyard. In the photo above is a baby frog that is half inch in length, just the same size of a Philippine 5 centavo coin.
"Higad" is the name of this creature here in the Philippines, also known as, the caterpillar. They are voracious feeders and are considered pests in plants.
Yesterday, we experienced a typhoon, named Frank. It got heavy rains and strong winds. It flooded our street and our backyard. Hubby and I, we goofed around with the camera because there's nothing else to do! There's no electricity, early in the morning until the afternoon. We can't use the tv or blog! (",) In the photo above, Hubby is holding a little froggy. A half an inch frog... that's how small it is!!!
While watching the television, Tita Andeng gave a big shriek! Something cold dropped at her foot. It was a baby lizard. She grabbed the little thing and played with it. She even made sure my kiddo got a good look at it. But after awhile, I made sure they let the baby lizard go. Why? It helps eats insects, specially mosquitoes which is abundant nowadays because of the weather.
Last August 29, my Little One had their field trip. I accompanied him. We went to Manila Zoo, Kinder Zoo, Planetarium and watched "Aladdin Jr." in Greenbelt Theatre. It's only in the zoo we're allowed to take pictures. Kinder Zoo is inside Manila Zoo. Also, it's a petting zoo. My kiddo was so excited touching and holding the animals, even the python! Well, it only shows he is an animal lover like his father. He even asked me, if we could take home the animals .... he meant all, including the elephant! LOL (",)
