We, H and I, went to Cartimar to buy our dog, Sydney, a much larger cage to accommodate her. Well, we did and also, H bought me a husky. I've been wanting to have this kind of dog for sometime now. I named him, Charlie. A two month old, bi-eyed (black & blue) Siberian husky.

Clueless, of what will the husband do to her. Sydney had her first bath yesterday. She's very cool about it. I did not even saw her hesitated of what was going to happen, not even a single cry for help! Seemingly, she enjoys the experience so much. Just look at the pictures.

Hancock & Sunflower Seeds

Hancock is not the typical superhero story that's action packed. It's more about the character and his life with superhuman powers. Though, it had poor to average reviews. I kinda like the story because there's a twist that is different from the superhero movies I've watched before. Maybe it will have a sequel. The effects of the movie are great. Like always, Will Smith who plays John Hancock, is a hunk and co-star Charlize Theron who is one of my favorite actresses, is a knock-out! If you want to read the plot of the movie, just click here. By the way, as we are watching... my two boys munched happily with this sunflower seeds you see in the photo above. They both love seeds and nuts, that we call "kutkutin". This is what Wikipedia says about this yummy sunflower seeds.

La.Pi.S #7 - Soup

Jollibee's La Paz Batchoy Soup & Tuna Pie

We were supposed to eat at Hap Chan Chinese Restaurant after Kulit's ballet lesson. The husband was craving for Chinese food, while, I wanted something hot. But unfortunately, the resto was closed due to air-conditioning trouble. The weather today was cold and windy that's why i wanted to have something to warm my tummy. We ended up at Jollibee, it's the only food store that's near the dance studio that serves hot soups. The photo above was my snack. The husband had the Junior Champ a.k.a TLC value meal and the Lil'One had chicken and rice. By the way, the La Paz Batchoy, which was a new product, was great for the cheap price of 28 Philippine pesos only. And of course, the Tuna pie was great too! One of my favorites at Jollibee, never fails to satisfy my palate (",)

Our New Pup

Her name is Sydney. That's the name my kiddo wanted for the newest member of the Addams family, that's us! She's a pure breed Rottweiler, 2 months old. We just got her today. After dropping Kulit to school earlier. We went to the vet, Dr. Hans, to see her. He gave Sydney a pill for deworming. After a week, we will be back there again for some shots she needs.

Kung Fu Panda

After weeks of waiting for the husband to ask us if we want to watch this movie, at long last, we watched Kung Fu Panda. A very hilarious movie from start to finish. Po, the big fat panda, made my tummy ached so much from laughing, hehehe! The Furious Five; Tigress, Monkey, Mantis, Viper and Crane, are pretty amazing with their martial arts moves. My kid is acting it out, the kicking and turning! I like the most is the character of Master Oogway, the turtle. He is so wise and gentle. I love what he said to Po, "Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is a mystery. Today is a gift, that is why, it is called a present." One great movie, that is a must to see!

Everyone here in our home loves to eat bananas, it's a family favorite. Have you seen a dog who loves to eat fruits and veggies? That's our dear Luigi! Also, would you believe he loves fish more than meat. Next time, I'll post a photo of him eating his favorite "Sinigang"!!!

The Forbidden Kingdom

This is the very first movie team up of the two famous martial arts icons, Jet Li and Jackie Chan, both our my favorites. We, my hubby and I wouldn't pass up the opportunity to watch them on the big screen, of course, together with our movie buff son, like us! It was full of action, great moves and funny like the other movies of Jackie Chan. As for for Jet Li, he's funny too but with a mysterious side as always. In the movie, Jackie Chan plays a drunken master while Jet Li is a monk warrior. The story is about an American teenager who loves to watch Kung Fu movies and came across with a magical charmed staff. He travels back in time in which he needs to use the staff to free the Monkey King who was turned to stone. Jet Li and Jackie Chan were the travel tour guide of the "Seeker Of The Prophecy" which is the American teenager. Once in a lifetime movie to see, you should watch it. Highly recomended!

Due to our busy and crazy schedule, it was only last Saturday, we got the chance to celebrate Bunso's birthday. We met and watched the Pyro Olympics at SM Mall Of Asia. Then, for the first time, Bunso treat us. We ate at Greenwich. What a wonderful evening we had! Thanks Bunso.... sa uulitin (",)

Coco Beach Island Resort, Puerto Galera, Oriental Mindoro, Phils.

From April 1 to 3, we went to Coco Beach Island Resort in Puerto Galera, Oriental Mindoro. A summer escapade treat from hubby. It's such a nice place, very homey and relaxing. A nature paradise as I may say it! Their staff are friendly and accommodating and they have a concept of a service family that will cater to your needs. The beaches we went to, are great also. My Little One really enjoyed the waters. He even picked stones for souvenirs. Over all, it's highly recommended to go to.

Thanks tita butchay for this one. Though, I don't agree with the result (eto lang ang nagsabi na magkamukha kami ng anak ko! Hindi nga kami napagkakamalang mag-ina eh!) Yup, this is oh so true specially the people who know us. The only thing my son and I have in common, are our eyebrows, the rest of his physical traits are from his father.

Thursday Get Away At Villa Apolinario

Yesterday, my kiddo had no school classes. The school conducted a healing mass for their school staff and their families. We decided to go to Tagaytay to unwind rather than staying home. Before hitting the road, we had our breakfast in Jollibee, then took the bus going to Tagaytay. We visited Nanay Claring in her newly built house turned private resort, named "Villa Apolinario". We liked the place so much specially my kiddo. He had a great time swimming. He had the pool all by himself! While, I was busy taking pictures of the pretty flowers around the place. H (hubby) and I had a long chit-chat with Nanay Claring. She is such a sweet old lady. Fyi, this place can be rented.
